Hello, I'm Alex!

I run a small business in Diamond Creek. It’s an NDIS-supported occupational therapy return to work program, helping me find purpose and manage my career alongside my autism and PTSD.

Part of my business is collecting 10c drink containers under the Container Deposit Scheme. This aids my quality of life, but also benefits the community, as I take containers to Scouts Victoria and other community partners for processing. They receive a separate handling fee per container, so every eligible item you donate helps support their community programs.

Got drink containers you want to recycle, but don’t have the time? I can provide you with a large barrel that you pop them in. When it’s ready for collection, just send me a text message and I’ll come and pick it up within a few days, contactlessly. 

In addition to recycling drink containers and scrap metal, I provide peer support and case management work too! I help clients navigate the complex systems involved in disability, criminal justice, housing, neurological assessments, and government services. For example, I have used my own lived experience to help people with NDIS applications, appeals, and assessments.
